あの神父の答えを聞いて、腹の底から笑ったよ。トルケルとその部下たちのあの場面は本当に笑えた。ーーThe response that that priest gave really had me laughing out loud. That whole bit with Thorkell and his group was hilarious.

自分がこの作品で気に入っていることは、本来なら嫌いになるようなキャラクターでも最低でも１つくらいは好きになってしまうような特性を持っているところだね。アシェラッドもトルケルもすごくいいキャラクターだよ。ーーProbably my favorite thing about this show is that everyone I'm supposed to hate has at least a few likeable traits about them. Askeladd and Thorkell are both awesome.

Just like Christians believe doing good deeds will get them into heaven, Vikings believe being great warriors and dying in battle will get them to Valhalla. Thorkell is such a great warrior that he really has to go out of his way if he ever wants to die at someone else's hand.
