ギャングに入ったばかりで２人の先輩に怒鳴られまくっているジョルノが可哀想に思えてきました。ジョルノはせめてブチャラティかミスタのどちらか１人には同じ班にいて欲しかっただろうなぁ。よりによってなんでこの２人と・・って思ってそうです。

イルーゾォはイカした野郎だな。スタンドを使ってない時も自信のようなものを感じる。
フーゴにとってはかなりスリリングなエピソードだな、大きな困難が彼に立ちはだかっている。フーゴの過去が少し見れたけど興味深かったよ。(マンガではその部分を覚えていないから、ちゃんと追加されたんだね)それとマン・イン・ザ・ミラーはすごくクールなスタンドだ。ーーDamn, Illuso is a badass. Even when he's not using his Stand, the guy has this sense of confidence.
A pretty thrilling episode with Fugo struggling a lot against him. Interesting to see bits of Fugo's past too. (I don't remember that part from the manga so it's neat addition) I also think Man in the Mirror as a really cool Stand.

ああ、今回はフーゴのことで胸が張り裂けそうだったよ。「恥知らずのパープルヘイズ」とはだいぶ違っていて、フーゴが暴行したことにかなり正当性を与えていたよね、自分が予期していたものと明らかに違ったから、この改変に関しては少し複雑な気持ちだよ。それよりも、ブチャラティがチームのメンバー１人１人を加入させていくところを見れて嬉しく思う、彼は本当に教育ママ(soccer mom)の中の教育ママだよ。
アバッキオのことも忘れちゃいけないね、車でジョルノを庇うために、タフガイな方法でフーゴの頭を冷やしていたことから分かる通り、彼は公平に躾けていた。(ジョルノとアバッキオが口論になった時)デイヴィッドプロダクションがジョルノの瞳を小刻みに震わせていたのは真っ当な脚色で、それによってジョルノの意見もまだ完璧ではないという意味合いを強く感じさせたね。それに加え、アバッキオは、ジョルナがすごく頑固な行動をとる理由は彼がまだ１５歳でものを知らずに楽観的でいられるからだ、と考えていたね。ジョルノが何か言うたびアバッキオが叫ぶのは面白いジョークだと分かっていたけど、自分はいつも、それはアバッキオがジョルノの立場を守るためであって、彼の提案をちゃんと聞き入れるためにやってるんだと解釈していたよ。もしジョルノが巧妙で正しい考えを毎度思いつかなければ、彼は間違いなくもっと楽に過ごせていただろう。
イルーゾォの声はもう何度も聴いているから、そろそろ受け入れなきゃいけないな、あまりの低さに驚いたよ、彼の声は老人のように聞こえる。彼はLa Squadraのメンバーの中では若手だと思ってたんだけど、そうじゃなかったみたいだね。でも、マン・イン・ザ・ミラーは超クールだったよ、黒/白/金のカラーリングが狂おしいほど好き、カラー稿の漫画からの明らな改善だね。それとパープル・ヘイズに触れずにクールなスタンドデザインについての話題を終わらせるわけにはいかないな、なんて素晴らしいアニメ化なんだ。デイヴィッドプロダクションはチンケなディティールは加えなかったね、実際あのマントを加えたというのは、取りうる限り最もクールなデザイン選択の１つだよ！そしてサウンドトラックが発売されたね、"Virus" と"Bugia"が立て続けに再生されるのは真っ当だ。
次のエピソードでは、思うにＯＰは無しか、もしくは、おろらく最後の"Fighting Gold"を聴くことになるだろう。ＯＰの観点からみて、(次回は)絶対に素晴らしい(stole the show)回になるだろうと思っている、今まで新しいエピソードで興奮しなかったことは一度もない、そして次回がどうなろうとも、自分はそれに対する準備はできているよ！ーーGosh, my heart breaks for Fugo today. Very different from PHF's backstory, and while it certainly does give Fugo more of a justification to attack, it's definitely not something I was expecting to see so I'm a bit conflicted on the change. Other than that, it was nice to see Bruno continuing to basically having adopted every single member of the team, truly he is the soccer mom to end all soccer moms.
We can't forget about Abbacchio, though, he was surely doing his own fair share of parenting, from cooling Fugo's head in the car to trying to protect Giorno in his own tough guy way. It was a neat addition from DavPro to add that quiver in Giorno's eyes, reinforcing the idea that Giorno's front isn't quite developed yet. Along with that, Abbacchio is reminded that the main reason why Giorno's acting so obstinate is because he's only 15 and doesn't know everything, so he can be optimistic--or at least, that's Abbacchio's reasoning. I know that it's a funny joke about how when Giorno breathes, Abbacchio screams, but I always interpreted it as Abbacchio just wanting to protect him by putting Giorno in his place and ensuring that he'll listen to orders. He'd definitely would have an easier time of that if Giorno didn't keep finding ways to be right or slick.
Now that we're hearing Illuso's voice more, I have to admit, I'm surprised by how deep it is, he sounds like an old man. I usually thought of him as one of the younger members of La Squadra, but maybe not anymore. Still, Man in the Mirror looks super cool, I freaking love that black/white/gold color scheme, a definite improvement from the color scans in my book. We can't end about talking about cool stand designs without mentioning Purple Haze either, what an amazing adaptation. DavPro did not skimp on the details here, and in fact adding that cape was one of the coolest design choices they could have taken! Plus, now that the soundtrack is out, it was neat to hear "Virus" and "Bugia" play back to back.
Next episode, I think we'll either have no OP or it'll probably be our last time hearing "Fighting Gold." I guess I'll at least state now that it absolutely stole the show for me in terms of OPs, it never failed to get me hyped for a new episode, and I'm absolutely ready for whatever comes next!

オレのFighting Golgの最後のエピソードについての予想は、効果音の有無に関わらず、この曲の英語バージョン(itunesで入手できるヤツ)を流すと思う、４部ではCrazy Noisy Bizarre TownがEDMバージョンになったりと、毎回最後に効果音が付くわけではないという傾向に変わったよね、だからそれは以前にもあったことなんだ。ーーMy prediction for Fighting Golds final episode will be that they play the english version of the song (which is available on itunes), either along with or without sound effects. Part 4 started the trend that not every OP had to have sound effects for its final run with Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town playing an EDM version, so its not like it hasn't happened before.

それとパープル・ヘイズはなんて恐ろしいスタンドなんだ、次のエピソードが待ちきれない！－－Awesome adaptation, I love the bits they added about Fugo's past, I remember that this fight was really awesome when I read it, few years ago, I can't wait to see it finally animated ! :D

待望のフーゴのバックストーリーがアニメ化されたな、ライトノベルの方の回想を使っていたが、むしろ２つを組み合わせたみたいだった。面白いね、だけどＯＶＡが発表されるチャンスがあるともないとも言い切れない、まだ期待は低く抑えておくよ。
そしてフーゴがジョルノにキレるシーンをアニメで追加してくれてうれしいよ(そして彼が怒るのはいつものことだっていう描写もね)。これはアバッキオが原因で見過ごされがちだけど、ミスタ以外のギャングメンバーは皆、ジョルノが自身を証明するまである種の不信感のようなものを抱いている。マンガでは、(明らかに)アバッキオには(この不信感が)よく見られて、ナランチャは時々、だけどフーゴには全くジョルノに対するいじめが見られないんだよな、だから彼ら(制作)がこのために時間を掛けてシーンを追加してくれてうれしいんだ。
あと、このエピソードの背景は驚くほど素晴らしいね。正直キャラクターは少しお粗末に見えたけど(次の章を考えればそれも理解できる)、ポンペイの景観はすごく魅力的だよ、これは絶対言っときたかった。ーーSo the long awaited Fugo backstory got animated, but instead of using the flashback from either light novel, it was more like a combination of 2. Interesting, but I wouldn't say the chances of an OVA happening are any better or worse, I'm still keeping my expectations low.
And I'm glad the anime are adding more scenes of Fugo being a shit to Giorno (and just him being angry in general). This is something that gets overlooked probably because of Abbacchio but the gang are supposed to kind of be distrusting of Giorno until he proves himself, with the exception of MIsta. In the manga, we (obviously) see it a lot with Abbacchio and sometimes with Narancia, but we never really saw Fugo hazing (heh) Giorno, so I'm glad they took the time to add scenes for that purpose.
Also, goddamn the background in this episode looks fucking amazing. The actual characters looked a bit jank at times (understandable considering the next arc) but Pompeii looks very sexy, I must say.

確かに彼はナランチャにも同じことをするけど、彼は単にベストな行いをしてほしいだけだと思う。彼がジョルノに同じ哀れみを抱いているとは思えない。ーーHe was pretty snarky with him at the end of the last episode and he was pretty openly berating Giorno this episode.
Granted, he does that to Naranica too, but I think he just wants the best out of him too. I don't think he shares that same compassion for Giorno.

本当にマン・イン・ザ・ミラーの色のようにね；そしてパープル・ヘイズのマントがすごく魅力的だった。ちなみに１３分頃の壁に書いてあったフランス語は"don't change a winning team"というフランスの慣用句だよーーthat was a good episode !really like man in the mirror colors; and PH with a cape is sexy af btw around 13min, the tag on the wall is french for "don't change a winning team" it's a french idiom

できることならハープル・ヘイズが登場したとこのマンガを読んだ記憶を消して、まっさらな頭で観てみたいよ。
たとえこの先のエピソードで何か失敗をやらかしたとしても、この場面が４部を除いたアニメ化された中で一番のお気に入りだと言う準備はできてる。－－I’m gonna freely admit I wish I could take out my memories of reading the manga to experience that reveal of Purple Haze with no expectations.
Hell, even if the ball is dropped in a few episodes down the line, I’m prepared to say this is my favorite animated part besides Part 4.

Daaaaaamn 素晴らしかったよ！フーゴのバックストーリーはＰＨＦのそれとは違ったね、だけどそれはすごく良くて、そして恐ろしいものだった。そしてこの理由はまだ言えないけど、フーゴがジョルノに対して厳しく当たっている描写を入れているのはいいと思った。パープル・ヘイズの唸り声とあの上下する動き(bobbing)がファンタスティックだ、ウイルスの描き方もとても良かった。
けど、マン・イン・ザ・ミラーのあの変なパンチは９７年版のベルセルクみたいだったな、そこはかなり残念なところだね。だけどさ、マン・イン・ザ・ミラーのカラーリングはスゴクよかったよ、そのおかげで自分はあのデザインがもっと好きになったよ。
そういえば、フーゴのヤツは一時停止の標識で止まってなかったな！全くひどい違反だな！－－Daaaaaamn that was great! Fugo's backstory may not have been the PHF one, but man it was still really good and horrifying. And I can't say why yet, but I like how they are making Fugo more confrontational towards Giorno. Purple Haze was fantastic, both his growling and his bobbing, and I love how his virus looked. Although, that weird punch rush from MITM that looked straight out of Berserk 97, that was one big oof. But hey, at least MITM's color scheme was great, it actually made me like it's design way more.
Oh yeah, fucking Fugo didn't stop at the stop sign! What a goddamn delinquent!

教授が不穏なことをしていたというフーゴの過去を見れてよかったよ。フーゴの凶暴な面から発現したというパープル・ヘイズなのにちょっと面白い動きをしていたね。不思議だーーMan in the Mirror vs Purple Haze. It was nice to see Fugo's past and that professor was disturbing. Purple Haze was kinda funny acting like this when it represents Fugo's violent side.Now I wonder

あと、このエピソードでアバッキオがなんであんなにジョルノに神経質になってるのかが分かったよ。アバッキオが何度もパープル・ヘイズから離れろってジョルノに言ってるのに、ジョルノはつっ立ってのん気に質問をしていた。ーーAnime-only watcher: Daaaaaaaaamn Purple Haze is now my favorite stand in all of Jojo. His personality, powers, appearance, and introduction were sick as fuck.
Also, this episode made me realize a bit more why Giorno gets on Abbachio's nerves so much. Here's Abbacio telling Giorno to get away from Purple Haze, multiply times, while Giorno just stands there and gawks asking questions.

アバッキオはジョルノの合理的な判断を反抗と見なしてるんだよ。上司としてジョルノに自分の立場を分からせることに注意を注いでるんだ。彼にはそれ以外勝っているところがないからね、スタンドとかも。アバッキオの回想を見るに、あれはコントロールの問題だと思う、警官時代彼の相棒に起こった悲劇を彼はコントロールできなかった。
ジョルノがパープル・ヘイズからまったく離れなかった時は心配にはなったけど、この作品の物語とキャラクターが常識を欠いていないということを信頼するよ。それと同じく、”その霧は有毒だ。離れた方がいい”って言って、そして離れろって言うよ。ーーI would say that that’s Abbacchio viewing Giorno’s rationalization of the situation as defiance. The former is more concerned about having Giorno know his place at this point, and anything going beyond that is something he won’t, erm, stand. Looking at Abbacchio’s flashback, I also think it’s an issue of control, since he couldn’t control what happened to his partner in the police force.
Even though I got pretty anxious as well when Giorno wasn’t going to move from Purple Haze at all, I trust the character and the show’s narrative at this point that he doesn’t lack any common sense. At the same time, when someone tells you “That fog is toxic. You better move”, then I say you should move.

５部最強級のスタンド同士の戦いと言って過言ではないと思います。お互いに条件さえ整ってしまえばその瞬間勝負が決してしまうほど強力なスタンドを有しています。そしてどちらも防御に非常に優れたスタンドと言えるでしょう。
パープル・ヘイズは直接相手に触れなくとも半径数メートル以内に近づくだけで本体もスタンドも倒すことができます。射程距離は短いですが、相手も迂闊に手出しできません。
対するマン・イン・ザ・ミラーは、鏡の世界に相手の本体だけを引き込めば、相手のスタンド能力を封殺でき、自分はスタンドを使えるが相手はスタンドを使えないという圧倒的に有利な状況に持ち込むことが可能です。そして鏡の世界に自分だけ引きこもってしまえば、相手からの攻撃は一切受け付けないほぼ無敵と言っていい状態になります。これはつまりトリッシュを一度この鏡の世界に閉じ込めてしまえば、ブチャラティ達にはもう彼女を取り返す術がないということを意味しているんですよね。本当に恐ろしいスタンド能力だと思います。ホルマジオのスタンド能力が明らかになった時、なかなか強そうじゃんと思いましたが、ここまで強力な能力を見せつけられてしまうと、彼がリトル・フィートの能力をくだらねぇと評したのも頷けます。
それとも他のアニメみたいに半年後とか？
